I. The Book
One book, every swap already worked out for you.
The recipes I actually make in my own kitchen — desserts, breakfasts, dinners, snacks, and drinks, each one swapped down in sugar or calories without losing the reason you wanted it in the first place.
Every recipe names exactly what it saves you — calories, sugar, or protein — measured against the classic version, not a vague promise. If a number isn't attached to it, it isn't in this book.
I didn't write this for people already living on egg whites and rice cakes. I wrote it for a Tuesday night when you want the actual dish, not a sad substitute for it.
- Every recipe names its real calorie, sugar, or protein number versus the classic version.
- Breakfast, desserts, dinners, snacks, and drinks — 120 recipes total.
- Ordinary grocery-store ingredients — no powders or special orders required.
- Modern-kitchen methods. No fancy equipment beyond what you already own.

VI. Before and after the book
Most kitchens are quietly overpaying in sugar.
Not from one big mistake. From a hundred ordinary recipes carrying more sugar and calories than they need to. Here's what changes once you have the book.
Without the book
- Choosing between the dish you want and the one you're "supposed" to have.
- Recipes that call themselves healthy with no real numbers behind the claim.
- "Healthy" versions that taste nothing like the food you actually wanted.
- Never knowing how much sugar or how many calories a swap actually saves.
- Giving up on a recipe entirely instead of just swapping one ingredient.
With the book
- The real recipe, with a real number for what it saves you.
- 120 recipes across every meal, dessert, snack, and drink you crave.
- Swaps tasted and tested until they held up next to the original.
- Calories, sugar, and protein numbers next to every single recipe.
- One ingredient swapped at a time — not a whole new way of eating.
VII. A morning in my kitchen
This is what an ordinary bake actually looks like.
The oven goes on first, then I pull out whatever I'm swapping that day — Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, mashed banana instead of a cup of sugar, oat flour cut with a little all-purpose. Nothing exotic, just what's already in the fridge.
I taste as I go, the same as I always have. If a swap doesn't hold up next to the real thing, it doesn't make it into the book. The ones that do get written down with the exact numbers, so you know what you're actually saving before you bake.
That's the whole method, really. Not a diet, not a program — just the recipe you already wanted, made so it costs you less on the other side of it.

III. About Miriam
I got tired of choosing between the recipe and the diet.
I'm in my fifties, and I've spent most of my adult life in one kitchen or another feeding a family that likes dessert as much as I do. I'm not a dietitian and I don't believe in "clean eating" as a personality.
So I started swapping, one ingredient at a time — Greek yogurt, oat flour, a mashed banana instead of a cup of sugar. Not every swap worked. The ones in this book did, tasted and made again in my own kitchen until they held up next to the original.
This isn't a lifestyle and it isn't a program. It's a hundred and twenty recipes for the things you already want to eat, made in a way that costs you less on the other side of it.
It's not a diet book. It's the same recipes you already crave, with the sugar and calories that don't add up against you.
IV. From the kitchen table
What people say after they bake from it.
Made the brownies on Sunday and nobody at the table could tell. First time a "healthy" swap has actually tasted like the real thing.
I like that every recipe just tells you the number instead of saying "healthier." Finally something I can actually trust.
The banana bread alone was worth it. Made it three times in two weeks and my kids still ask for it.
V. Questions
Things people ask before they buy.
What format is the book?
You get it right after payment. Read on your phone, tablet, or computer — or print the pages for the kitchen.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. Everything is built around a normal modern kitchen — a mixing bowl, a stand or hand mixer, a blender, and an oven or stovetop.
I'm not a confident cook. Will I manage?
Yes. The steps are short and plain, and every ingredient is something you can find at a regular grocery store.
Is this a diet plan?
No. It's 120 recipes with lighter ingredient swaps, not a meal plan or a program. Cook whichever ones sound good to you.
Are the calorie and sugar numbers exact?
They're estimates based on common brands and standard serving sizes, compared against a typical version of the same dish. Your numbers may shift slightly depending on the exact ingredients you use.
What if it's not for me?
Email within seven days and I'll refund you. No fuss.
